New International Version:
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”(Colossians 3:13)
New Living Translation:
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”
Contemporary English Version:
“Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you.”
Common English Bible:
“Be tolerant with each other and, if someone has a complaint against anyone, forgive each other. As the Lord forgave you, so also forgive each other.”
Beloved, forgiving others is very key if you want to enjoy God’s forgiveness, grace and blessings.Do not allow yourself to be stagnant because of unforgiveness. It delays you, it causes heart ache, troubled mind, bitterness, lack of peace among others. The command is straightforward; Forgive others if you want God to forgive you. I’m sure you cannot count how much you sin against God and He forgives you over and over. So, be a true child of your father by forgiving others. Ask for the grace to forgive those that offend you.
