“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!”
The Message:
“With one hand strike my foes, With your other hand save me. Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don’t quit on me now.”
Contemporary English Version:
“You, Lord, will always treat me with kindness. Your love never fails. You have made us what we are. Don't give up on us now!”
Beloved, we have this great assurance that God’s love for us never fails. He’s got your back always and will never quit on you, so, don’t quit on God, put your whole weight on Him, He will carry you.
