“You protect me with salvation-armor; you hold me up with a firm hand, caress me with your gentle ways. You cleared the ground under me so my footing was firm.”
New English Translation:
“You give me your protective shield; your right hand supports me; your willingness to help enables me to prevail.”
Beloved,God is your protector, your shield to defend and keep you from every arrow and attacks; physical or spiritual. His right hand of righteousness will keep you from falling into those snares and mischiefs which the devil and his cohorts designed. Allow Him to be your Strength, and Salvation, love Him wholeheartedly, then, call on Him in every trouble, and praise Him for every deliverance. Strive daily to distant yourself from sin, because if you belong to him, He conquers and reigns for you, of which you shall in turn conquer and reign through Him. He will deal with you with gentleness, kindness and clemency, which will make you to prosper and succeed in life.
