New International Version:
““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”(Matthew 7:7)
New Living Translation:
““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
““ Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.”
Beloved, Prayer is the appointed means for obtaining what we need, it is the most veritable means to commune with God. Pray always and often,be serious and earnest in it, make it your meat, and your business. Ask, as a beggar asks alms, and as a traveller asks the way. Seek, as for a thing of value that you have lost, or as the merchantman that seeks goodly pearls. Knock, as he that desires to enter into the house knocks at the door. Whatever you pray for, according to the promise, shall be given you, if God see it fit for you. Do not continue to live in sin and allow to Holy Spirit to lead you in the place of prayer so as not to ask amiss. Ask in faith because Faith in prayer is a key that opens the door. The Lord's design is to express the nature, fervour, and constancy of prayer, and to encourage you to pray.Never think that God would bid you pray, and then refuse to hear, or give you what would be hurtful. Seek with humility, sincerity, and perseverance. God will grant you what is consistent with His purpose for you, which would be best for you and most for His own honor and glory. So, He will not give to you that which might appear to be of use, but which would be injurious. As this month ends today and we begin a new one tomorrow,Pray! Pray!! Pray!!! Don’t give up when your prayer seems delayed or unanswered.
