New International Version:
“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”(Luke 18:1)
“Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit”.
Common English Bible:
“Jesus was telling them a parable about their need to pray continuously and not to be discouraged.”
“Then Jesus taught the followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. He used this story to teach them:”
Beloved, Jesus wants us to pray always; when it is good, please pray, and when it is bad, pray. Do not grow weary, don’t give up, don’t be discouraged, don’t loose heart, when your prayer seems not to be answered, because God knows the best and He answers us when it will bring glory to His name. Do not be lazy also in the place of prayer. Always persevere and grow strong in supplication to God, because He wants you to continue in prayer not to weary you but to exercise you, therefore you must fight against impatience so that a long delay does not cause you to quit your praying.
