“Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”(Isaiah 65:24)
New Living Translation:
“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!”
Easy-To-Read Version:
“I will answer them before they call for help. I will help them before they finish asking.”
Contemporary English Version:
“I will answer their prayers before they finish praying.”
Beloved, this is an amazing promise from our beloved Father to us. What a great joy and assurance to know that anytime we call on Him, we are not wasting our time, He listens and hears us. Ever watchful, He anticipates our necessities, and in His providence and grace lays the foundation for granting the favor long before we ask Him. God sees and knows our needs, and He will impart to us the blessings which we need. He will not wait to be applied to for the blessing. So, when you pray, do not doubt, don’t be double-minded, trust and have faith that your prayers are answered.
This shows the readiness of the Lord to help and assist us in any time of trouble, or when we may fear an enemy; and is a great encouragement to attend the throne of grace constantly.
