“And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him.”(Ecclesiastes 3:14)

“I realize that whatever God does will last forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing can be taken away from it. God does this so that people will fear him.”
Good News Bible:
“I know that everything God does will last for ever. You can't add anything to it or take anything away from it. And one thing God does is to make us stand in awe of him.”
Common English Bible:
“I know that whatever God does will last forever; it’s impossible to add to it or take away from it. God has done this so that people are reverent before him.”
Beloved, all God’s counsels or decrees are eternal and unchangeable, and His providence works effectually, so as men cannot resist or hinder it.
You can neither do any thing against God’s counsel and providence, nor hinder any work or act of it. He does wondrous things,not that we should make it an occasion of despair, or idleness,but that, by the consideration of His sovereign and irresistible power over all persons and things as it pleases Him,we should learn to trust in Him, submit to Him, fear to offend or rebel against Him and more carefully and industriously study to please Him.
